Good news, the doctors are saying that it is “possible” that the guys may get to go home today–three days after the surgery!
I just spoke with Izaak, and he is still in a great deal of pain from the gas. Evidently the gas (carbon dioxide) escapes the body through the joints, so when Izaak is sitting up in bed his shoulders and neck hurt. He did have a wonderful night’s sleep last night, which he is very thankful. He only woke up to take the percocet every four hours–strange, I did too.
His creotin levels remain high, but the doctor thought that was normal. They are going to monitor this level over the next month. He is not allowed to drink any caffeine or alcohol. YIKES.
Donna was able to go home last night. Katie, Izaak’s sister, came to spend the night with him. How sweet… That Standridge clan is a formidable family. They will do anything for one another, so be careful what you say about Tim and his bald head.
Annie is back from her mission trip, but she is still a baptist–keep praying for her. Lewster comments:

Most importantly Izaak asks for prayer that he have a BM. If you know me, then you know that I can’t believe I just wrote anything about excriment on my blog. The heroine morphine that he was taking is said to slow the whole body down, and he wants to pass this problem soon. May someone pray Deuteronomy 15:1 for him, “At the end of [every] seven years thou shalt make a release”. We all hope that everything comes out okay. (BTW I will never post crap like this again)
