The wise are prudent and careful and respectful. The wise know when to stop and when to press on.
The fool dances with the allure of possibility. The fool follows their gut and believes in the unseen because sometimes it’s the best option.
The wise trust statistics; the fool believes in slim chances.
The wise recite facts; the fool tells stories.
The wise swing for an average; fools swing for the fences.
Most of the time it is perfectly acceptable to be wise, but on the rare occasion that you have the chance to be extraordinary, it is okay to defiantly chase it with reckless abandon. The fools fighting against the grain, taking wild risks, and trying to prove the impossible, of course, are only fools until they succeed, and then they become heroes.
